When grown in the heat the spines grow extremely long , reaching over 3” in length!!! This cactus grows fat and gets a very thick trunk , often branching and producing basal pups ! \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou will receive an extremely similar cutting to the one pictured , over 3” thick with a perfect tip ! the ruler is one foot and the soda can is for size reference, all sides of this cactus are pictured and it has a healthy tip .
