Bridgesii

This trichocereus bridgesii eventually looses it spines and goes bald with age , turning to a thick glaucous blue and white with a swollen rounded look !! Commonly known as “Del Dios” this cultivar originated from the hillsides of Southern California near Vista !  This cutting is extremely healthy and growing very fast !  It’s quite impressive with its wavy rib lines and new flesh glowing and radiating a magical aurora.  It’s vibrant yellow spines give an amazing contrast to its powdery aquamarine flesh tones .  Currently the spines fade to a rich golden hue eventually turning silver and then releasing altogether to create a new bald look .   These new spines easily brush off , and this cactus has been grown with love and care , not a single spine out of place !  I will personally ship this carefully in a large box with soft starch peanuts to insure it arrives safely at your doorstep , exactly as you see it pictured here !  Pictures taken at 5:00 Thursday.
